The evolution of dragondoor, El Dorado was conceived on February 23rd 2006. Using most of the players from d2p, with some new faces, this project promised to expand on the "event" premise of d2p into a true organization.

Most of 2006 focused on a feud between Aagan-iisou and the upstart heel group STONED. The 2 sides feuded over who would get to recruit Takuya Sugawara. The feud never had a proper end, as what is now known as the El Dorado curse wreaked havoc on the promotion. Several long term injuries put everything into a holding pattern, and left very little focus.

March 2007 saw a complete reset. All existing alignments were scrapped, and 4 units will be formed in April 2007. Owashi, Kondo, YASSHI, and Sugawara were nominated as the leader position players. Each was free to use the time between then and the August Korakuen Hall show to recruit whoever they wanted for their unit. Any player not in a unit by then would be fired.

The unit concept was mostly abandoned in 2008. They did continue to increase their activity. While they still do not hold proper tours, they have gone from once a month to a minimum of 2, sometimes up to 4. They also now hold bi-monthly conventions from Korakuen Hall.

Brahman Shu & Kei: Twin brothers from Toryumon X. They started under their real names Shu and Kei Sato to comprise the Sailor Boys. They joined Michinoku Pro after the end of X. They turned heel at the end of 2005, as members of the STONED group. They renamed to Brahman Shu and Brahman Kei for El Dorado. They are co leaders of the Hell Demons unit. They continue to compete for MPro as the Sato twins, as co-leaders of the Kowloon unit.

Ken45: Los Salseros member as Pineapple Hanai. His betrayal was the catalyst for the end of the group. He is a member of Hell Demons. Also continues in MPro.

Manjimaru: Began with X under his real name, Manabu Murakami. Joined Michinoku Pro as Maguro Ooma. Turned heel when STONED formed. He is a member of Hell Demons. Also continues in MPro.

Go: A Dragon Gate dojo dropout under his real name, Takeshi Sato. He joined El Dorado at the start of 2007. Renamed to Go when he turned heel, joining Hell Demons.

Touru Owashi: T2P graduate, and founding member of Aagan-iisou. After departing Dragon Gate, he resurfaced for Osaka Pro and DDT. Was a major player in dragondoor and one of the faces of El Dorado. He leads the Animal Planets unit.

KAGETORA: X member as SUWAcito. Joined Michinoku Pro , becoming Kagetora. Was the leader of STONED both for MPro and El Dorado. They betrayed him, leaving him as a lone wolf. Despite being placed as one of the top El Dorado players, he quietly joined Animal Planets.

Bear Fukuda: Founding Los Salseros member as Mango Fukuda. Joined El Dorado near the demise of the unit, renaming to Bear. A member of Animal Planets.

CHANGO: The final X student, as Guillermo "Chango" Akiba. Joined El Dorado at the end of 2006. His monkey character made him an obvious choice for Animal Planets.

Shogo Takagi: T2P graduateAagan-iisou member and former boxing Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer. Retired from full time wrestling in 2007 to become a salaryman. Is still considered an El Dorado roster member as Animal Shogo. 

Shuji Kondo: T2P graduate and Aagan-iisou member. Joined All Japan after leaving DG, as a member of the Voodoo Murders unit. He was the ace of dragondoor and is now the ace of El Dorado. His unit, SUKIYAKI, was dissolved in March 2008.

"brother" YASSHI: T2P graduate and Aagan-iisou member. Joined All Japan after leaving DG, as a member of the Voodoo Murders unit. Lead the Nanking Fucking Wrestling Team, but was forced to dissolve it.

Takuya Sugawara: T2P graduate and Aagan-iisou member. Stayed out of wrestling until the beginning of dragondoor. Betrayed the other Aagan members to join the STONED unit, which became Hell Demons. They betrayed him, so he now aligns with Owashi. He also competes in Zero One MAX.

Mototsugu Shimizu: Due to injuries, never actually wrestled in the T2P ring. After nearly 5 years he finally returned to the ring in 2006.

Kinya Oyanagei: Washed up ashore in Mexico, somehow finding his way to the gym. He had amnesia and only remembered he was a soldier in a long ago war. Upon arriving in Japan he enrolled in school where he kept a detailed notebook of wrestling holds. After T2P he disappeared completely for several years. He resurfaced for dragondoor, then returned as a character wrestler for El Dorado. He changed to a serious role at the end of 2007.

Jumping Kid Okimoto: X member as Small Dandy Fuji. Joined Michinoku Pro as Rasse. Was a member of Nanking Fucking Wrestling Team, and now has no permanent alignment. 

Yousuke Aoki: Disappeared shortly after debuting. Returned from seemingly nowhere in 2006, eventually joining El Dorado where he now competes as Spark Aoki.

Tsutomu Oosugi.: Started with X as Milanito Collection a.t., a mini version of Milano Collection. Moved on to dragondoor, then MPro as Rei. He sealed the Milanito character at the end of 2007, returning under his real name. Is a member of the 2 person Speed of Sounds unit.

Hercules Senga: Final Los Salseros member. Joined Michinoku Pro, then switched El Dorado. He remains with them full time as Hercules Senga. Joined Animal Planets, but has distanced himself from them. He is now a member of the Speed of Sounds team.
