Before Dragon Gate: Prior to joining Dragon Gate, he spent years on the Japanese independent scene, for many different organizations under even more names. He gained the most notoriety in Osaka Pro Wrestling as the monster heel Big Boss MA-G-MA. He left Osaka in early 2005, and was thought to be retired due to a heart ailment.
2005: Preceded by mysterious letters proclaiming an earthquake hitting Dragon Gate, he invaded the ring in June. He challenged CIMA to a singles match, that never actually happened. He joined Blood Generation, and became Magnitude Kishiwada. He became a dominant force, eventually winning the Open the Dream Gate.
2006: After losing the Dream Gate, he missed several months with a severe shoulder injury. He joined Muscle Outlaw'z upon his return. At the end of the year he chose to switch from a DG contracted wrestler to freelance status.
2007: As a freelancer, he competed for DG only on a spot basis. He was still around for major shows. However as the year progressed, his presence began to decrease.

Kishiwada has continued his limited DG role into 2008, while ramping up his freelance activity. In addition to holding his own show to celebrate his 15th year as a wrestler, he joined the El Dorado roster as a member of the Hell Demons unit. After the end of MO'z, he shocked everyone by returning to DG, this time aligned with the over 30 team with Mochizuki and Don Fujii.
