8/30/2002- Todays results up.
8/29/2002- Todays' results up. Final show of the Hokkaido tour is tonight. I received the August VamoAmi yesterday, covering the 7/14 Ariake show. I have to say, it was the best VamoAmi since November. Several very good matches, and an AWESOME 3 way, surpassing the World main event. Match list is up in the usual place.
8/27/2002- Today's results up. There will be an M2K autograph session at Byblos Cafe in Azuba on 9/4. I believe it is for ticket holders of 9/8 only. I have gotten quite a few nice emails over the last few days, giving some kind words of thanks to my efforts here. I just wanted to say thank you, and that it keeps me goin. Thank you!
8/26/2002- Todays' results up.
8/25/2002- Todays' results up. A successful title defense for Darkness. Owashi assaulted Mochi, Ryo,and referee Kinta. He then taunted Mochi, hinting at a possible 3 way on 9/8. Owashi then ran in AGAIN after the semi--main, giving SUWA a Nodowa. He said the fastest way to become number 1, is to beat Mochi and SUWA. In the main, M2K assaulted Kinta, so Kanda could officiate.
8/24/2002- Todays' results up. Milano Collection made an appearance after the 3rd match. He and Shuji and Yagi attacked the Royal Prince Brothers. Ryo came to make the save, but then Milano warned Anthony not accept his help, because war has been declared (because of the Princes match with Ryo and Co. on 9/8). Milano then turned his attention to the 3 way main event, challenging to make it a 4 way. CIMA came out and declined, saying it would ruin the match quality (0_o), so if they entered, CMAX wouldn't. The match remained a 3 way, as announced. Tonight is Darkness vs. Dragon Kid for the NWA Welterweight title. Darkness once again completely tore of Kids' mask today. Kid said he would get revenge tonight. I have received a lot of mail about the Ultimo Dragon in EMLL situation. For those who haven't heard...Ultimo made an appearance in EMLL Mexico recently, and was attacked. Basically this is leading to rumours that Ultimo will make his comeback there, not Toryumon or any other place in Japan. I would take it pretty seriously, actually. Mexico has always been Ultimos' home more than Japan. Whether it will happen, we just have to wait and see.
8/22/2002- Today's results up.
8/21/2002- 2 matches confirmed for 9/8 (confirming the rumours, basically). Royal Prince Brothers vs. Ryo/Araken/Shisa and Magnum/Disco/Latin Lover vs. Condotti/Yagi/Belbel (/me cries). Todays' results up.
8/20/2002- 2 new profiles (albeit rather empty ones) for the 2 newest Toryumon X students, Murcielago and Small Dandy Fuji. I actually managed to track down a good chunk of info on the Murcielago gimmick origins. Also, I need to call in a favour with any of my readers if possible. If anyone has access to current Weekly Pro or Weekly Gong magazines, within the last 2 weeks, there was coverage of the 8/3 Toryumon Mexico show. If anyone can grab this issue for me, I'll be eternally grateful (and of course will cover all costs incurred). Thanks!
8/18/2002- Some profile work done today. Updates to Darkness Dragon, Sugawara, Tajima, Fukumasa, Mochi, and a few others. All is quiet right now, the Nagano shows were cancelled, so nothing until the annual Hokkaido tour starts in a few days.
8/13/2002- Results from Kobe up, good looking show. There will be Toryumon involvement on Genichiro Tenryus' 8/31 All Japan show: Masaaki Mochizuki , Dragon Kid & Jimmy Yang vs. Magnum TOKYO , Susumu Yokosuka & Darkness Dragon . I figured out why Stalker worked the Maximum Weakest Finals. Turns out that the loser would have been the winner, if that makes sense, meaning the losers advanced. Updated profiles for the Royal Prince Brothers.
8/12/2002- Stuart over at Strong Style Spirit is reporting Koji Kanemoto challenged Mochi to a match after last night's New Japan show. I would take this with a grain of salt, but....as of now, Mochi has no match for 9/8...But that is just me speculating. New Japan and Toryumon haven't worked together since the disastrous 5/5/2000 match where the NJPW Jrs. basically disrespected and stiffed the hell out of the C-MAX contingent. CIMA cut a nasty promo on Kanemoto afterwards and ties were severed.
8/11/2002- Doubleheader results up. Owashi running in on the SUWA/Mochi match. SUWA vs. Owashi is confirmed for 9/8. The winner of the Maximum Weakest gets to spend a full day working out at Takada Dojo. Darkness will defend his NWA Welterweight title vs Dragon Kid on one of the Sapporo shows. Magnum attacked TARUs arm with a chair, injuring it. The first matches for 9/8 Ariake Coliseum have been announced. One great, one shocking and horrifying. Dragon Kid and Darkness will have a mask vs. mask match, the final match in their feud. One of 3 referees (Yasushi Kanda, Tomoaka Kinta, and a Mexican official) will be chosen from random at match time. In what may be the most hideous match in Toryumon history, Magnum TOKYO will team with Latin Lover and....DISCO INFERNO (......!!!!......><.....) of WCW fame against an unnamed team. I'm really hoping this is either a typo or a really bad joke. For some reason Ichikawa worked the Maximum Weakest finals,.....C-MAX invaded on the Llave exhibition match, assaulting Jorge Rivera and saying T2P was boring. Junya Fukumasa and Takuya Sugawara have formed a team called the Royal Prince Brothers. They have been renamed (of course) to Phillip J Fukumasa and Henry Sugawara III....Owashi powerbombed YOSSINO after the main, YOSSINO needed medical assitance. Here is the current 9/8 card, with more to be added.

8/7/2002- It was announced that 9/8 will make use of BOTH a 4 sided ring and the T2P 6 sided ring. How it will be set up isn't really known.
8/6/2002- A head injury will prevent TARUcito from working the 8/11 Maximum Weakest Tournament. He will be replaced by more Syachihoko Machines. Get well soon. 'cito! In site news, we have a message board again, sort of. Stuart at Strong Style Spirit has been kind enough to let me christen his new board as my own for now. Please feel free to post any Toryumon related discussion over there.
