New TV, finally
Got the August VamoAmi today. Lots of digest and
clipping. K-ness vs. YOSSINO, most of Doi vs. Dotti, and the 3 Way 6 man
were all very good. Magu vs. Fujii...eh. Magu is terrible. Maybe if he
quit smoking (as he is shown doing during an overly long segment on a
variety show he appeared on) he would have some wind left after 10
minutes. Also quite upset that the 17 minute opening 6 man from 7/23
Korakuen was clipped to 2 minutes. Passable, but worth checking out the
stuff mentioned above. Match list is up.
Correction to my earlier report, the name changes are: brother YASSHI and Dotti Shuji, not just YASSHI and Dotti,
9/26/2003 Budokan Hall
Report
The opener had to be changed due to Ryos' injury (said to be a broken arm....it just keeps happening...). The biggest note of this match is Susumu FINALLY overcame the Ultra Hurricanrana, reversing it for the fall.
Owashi vs. TARU was a big brawl, but from reports sounded to be pretty exciting. Owashi attacked him with a metal stick, causing him to bleed. Okamura came out afterwards, but Owashi just walked off.
The tag match was a big mess, with multiple ref bumps, including a super power bomb through a table on Yagi. The end saw Yagi revive to hit YASSHI with french bread, allowing YOSSINO to roll him up. K-ness said afterwards he would no longer team with YOSSINO, but looked forward to having friendly battles with him, both single and in the upcoming tag league.
Owashi and CIMA brawled on the floor after match 4. Owashi is aiming to destroy CMAX, since they are the original heels of Toryumon.
Magnum got back in the cage and hit Genki with a blue box shot, fully turning on him. Araken is now the next challenger to the UDG belt, and Genki lost his hair.
Further complicating things, Magnum offered his hand to Milano, who accepted. Magu ordered Milano to cut Genkis' hair, while DF looked on in horror. Magu kicked the broken arm of Ryo. Milano reluctantly did so, and will be teaming with Magu in the upcoming tag league.
The tag league teams as it stands now are: Magu & Milano, Susumu & K-ness, Mochi & Doi, and CIMA & JUN. YOSSINO & Anthony, Genki & Ryo, Dotti & YASSHI, and Fujii & SUWA are expected to be the remaining teams.
Shuji and YASSINI officially renamed themselves to Dotti and YASSHI respectively. Their group has been called "Gianz" (I think that would be the way to say it ジャイアンズ) by fans.

Some news and rumours on the eve of Budokan. (none of it having to
do with the HATER level of my friends). CIMA is releasing his own line of
jewelry called "Blood Venus". This stuff will be on sale at shows, and is
done in collaboration with the L.A. MART store he is so fond of. Magnum
earlier in the year released a line of "44" sunglasses, which are quite
nice and available on Yahoo Japan auctions all the time. Hopefully Milano
releases some sort of clothing or accessory soon. YOSSINOs' new arm
submission, which had just been called "Reverse Torbellino" is officially
called Arm Yoshino. Just imagine the Torbellino, but instead of ending in
arm breaker drop, it ended in jujigatame. Budokan is mainly sold out, with
most sections either being out or mostly out. There is worry that there
won't be a strong walkup due the Tokyo Game Show kicking off no the same
day, and a lot of the target young audience attending there, even if they
are not going on at the same time, really. Dave Meltzer recently mentioned
that MLW in Florida was trying to secure a talent exchange deal, but due
to the brutal meat grinding unfair schedule that Toryumon works, it isn't
possible at this time. Rumours are starting to circulate about Iwasas'
15th opponent in his trial series. The names being kicked around so far
have been Ultimo, Raimu when he is healed, King Ali Baba (.......), and
Kanda. As far as I know, the plan was for it to be Raimu, but due to his
injury, it might be changed. I can't do news flash tonight, due to my work
schedule, but I will have as much of the show as I can covered before I
have to go in tomorrow morning.
9/22/2003 Chicken Result
DF continues to fall apart...Ryo hit Genki with a blue box shot, Susumu hit Magnum, then K-ness intruded, hitting both of them. Magnum covered Genki for the pin. K-ness apparently is distancing himself from DF, but hasn't left officially. Most are anticipating him joining the Euro Connection with Milano, Anthony, and YOSSINO.
BATA won his golden microphone back. He and Fujii then sung a duet of Dream Play..........
Apologies for having the "next performance" section wrong the last 2 days, I was copying from the wrong month ;P Yes, been a rough week^^

Kyoto, Kyoto KBS Hall Report
YOSSINO asked that a 3rd referee be ready for the main event, due to the recent rash of ref violence from Dotti and Co. This ended up being Yagi.
Magnum sat at ringside for match one, when Genki had JUN in a backslide, he intruded, causing Genki to lose. Yagi refereed this match.
Seems BATA and Fujii will finally have a match over BATAs' stolen Golden Microphone (remember Fujii stole it a few months ago at a Chicken show), the match will take place on the upcoming Chicken.
Arakens' still injured hand was again the target for DF, as Magnum tries to get him out of the cage match. Afterwards Genki intruded, giving Magu what was called an "As hard as possible blue box shot". Soon after, SUWA and Milano came in, and all 5 cage match participants brawled.
There were several incidents of referee violence in the main, both intentional and unintentional. Kinta was knocked out by an errant Milano enzui, making Yagi the referee of decision. He was knocked out as well, but awoke in time to make the 3 count (said to be a very WWE finish....D; )
Afterwards, K-ness came in, and this lead to a new match for Budokan. The dream team of YOSSINO and K-ness vs. Dotti and YASSINI.
Updates to the Tech Guide today.

Another win for Anthony with his new
hold, going into tonights' UWA 6 man tag title decision match. The injury
bug that has plagued us all year continues to wreak havoc, as Stalker and
Raimu are both missing time due to injury (Stalker unknown, Raimu a broken
wrist). YASSINI is said to still be suffering from his arm injury, and
hasn't been doing much in his matches. YOSSINO and K-ness are still not
recovered from their shoulders, this is why K-ness is wrestling in mostly
throwaway matches recently. The September VamoAmi aired today, covering
all the August happenings. I will be putting up matchlistings for all the
recent TV later, even though I haven't seen any of it yet, due to what
seems to be a bottleneck of TV footage recently D;
9/15/2003 Cage match rules, Raimu injured
Rules for Budokans' cage match were announced. They are similar to
the rules from the 2001 match. After 10 minutes, anyone of the 5
competitors can escape. After 3 have escaped, a referee will enter the
cage, at that time, pinfalls and submissions can also be used to win.
Seems as though SUWAs' penalty has changed, and he now has to grow his
hair out instead of do the DF dance.....
Raimu broke his wrist today, so conceivably will be unable to face President Okamura at the upcoming Chicken in an Iwasa Gundam trial match.
9/13/2003
Magnum continues to not help Genki in their matches, to show him
how it will be in the cage at Budokan. Milano invited Genki to leave DF
and join him, but Genki refused. YASSINI will return to action tomorrow,
after missing most of the summer with an arm injury. 2 teams have been
passively determined for the October tag league, CIMA and JUN, and Mochi
and Doi. Rumours of K-ness vs. Dotti for the British Commonwealth Jr title
at Budokan are going around, but nothing has been announced yet.
9/9/2003
November game schedule up. Dotti has also bleached his hair, to go
with his new costume. The costume is the same design/style as before, just
new colours.
9/8/2003 Osaka report
Magu slapped Genki during the opener, causing him to get pinned. Magu said it was just psychological warfare for the cage match at Budokan. Genki wasn't too happy, but ended up dancing anyway.....
TARU vs. Owashi ignored Iwasa totally, and ended up brawling all over the building. TARU challenged for a single, and it was signed for Budokan Hall.
Dotti had a new orange, yellow, and red ring costume. He was seconded by Bakery and Yassi. After the match, they attacked K-ness and Boxer, stripping their masks. They declared headhunting on both.
Owashi was called in, and he shook hands with Dotti and Yassi. Owashi said he didn't like bread, and true sumos didn't eat baked goods, leading to an attack on Yagi. Dotti and Co. declared headhunting on him, as well.
It was determined that the UWA 6 person titles decision match will be Milano, YOSSINO, Anthony vs. Yassi, Dotti, Owashi. This will take place on the 20th in Kyoto KBS Hall.
Susumu praised YOSSINO after the main, saying it was a pleasant fight. Let's hope this one makes TV (with no Korakuen this month, the chances are high)

Rumours Rumours
There are some rumours floating about that Toryumon and New Japan
may be in talks to have K-ness and possibly others represent the Makai
Club. Well, the source of these rumours are the 2ch boards, which if you
ever visited them, are the Japanese equivalent of a Gamefaqs or AOL board
(or something equally horrifying) where people tend to make things up or
talk in shorthand that is hard to understand unless you are a native
speaker, so until there is a remotely reliable or official place
mentioning this, I would be dismissing it quickly.
9/5/2003
K-ness was under cancellation of
appearance today, due to his shoulder. Dotti came out and claimed
responsibility, drawing large boos. The move YOSSINO won with was a
corbata into a modified reverse cross arm breaker. From the sounds of
things, I would imagine it is a Torbellino straight into submission.
Owashi assaulted both Kinta and Kanda, in a mess of a match. Dotti once
again did nothing to help BelBel, basically leaving him alone in the
match. K-ness ran in and attacked Dotti afterwards. Apparently there is
some slight dissention in DF now, as well, as there were some issues
involving the 3 in the main event. They all danced at the end, though.
9/3/2003
It was announced that there will be a big show on December 17th,
in Yoyogi 2nd Gymnasium (the same location as the Numero Uno finals)

Mexico results, Budokan PPV
The 9/26 Budokan Hall show will air
live on SkyPERFECT PPV, starting at 18:30 JST. It will run you 1500

Seems Yagi and Boxer have now also withdrawn from the ItaConne, leaving it as only YOSSINO and Milano. Dotti abandoned Boxer in today's match. So this presumably will lead to him returning to the Exotic Cars. Okamura and Kanda have left the UWA 6 person titles in Milanos' possession, and he will figure out what to do with them.
On a related, but not at all related note, the annual December Mexico tour has been announced, taking place from 12/4-12/9. No real details yet, but this year's participants are Milano and YOSSINO.
Iwasa is now 0-9.
More updates to X related unit profiles today, since I finally got to see some of the program from the debut show. Everyone has hometowns and trademark moves now. I somehow have a feeling I am going to love Saito Masuda........
